An Easy Transition

 

Mascia Management makes the transition to utilizing our services as simple as possible. We will take the lead in coordinating with your past property management team and other professionals including accountants, lawyers, and investment partners to ensure you experience a seamless transition. Mascia Management has a comprehensive approach to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

 

Here are a few of the services Mascia Management provides during transition:

  1. Review, digitize, and organize all files including but not limited to:
    • All financial data including tax and mortgage documents
    • All resident files
  2. Setup your property and all accounts needed in our Mascia Asset Control (MAC) system
  3. Accounting system setup including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, etc.
  4. Check all rent regulated unit registration forms to make sure they are completed and filed correctly
  5. Input all resident information such as arrears and other ongoing charges
  6. Conduct a lease by lease analysis
  7. Check previous tax returns for any inconsistencies
  8. Contact all vendors and service providers to update their account information
  9. Review all major service contracts for cost savings
  10. Conduct a building energy audit to see if there are any potential savings that can be attained
  11. Conduct a physical site assessment survey to identify any potential problems
  12. Photograph property for use in property marketing materials
